Big News for Haley!! She tried out for the school musical last week with over 100 other students.

She landed the Lead Female roll of Gertrude! Haley says she is on "cloud 19." She is so excited and can't wait to start rehearsals this week.

The play is Seussical and she will be performing the first weekend of February. So make plans now so you can see the show!

Family Updates

Well...got some news yesterday. It appears Adelyn has Scoliosis! We had to go get Xrays done of her back yesterday and sure enough...I saw it with my own eyes...it was crooked. The doctor should contact us today or Monday and let us know what's next. I will let you all know.

On a lighter note, Haley got braces yesterday! She is not all that happy with how tender it is, and she was having trouble saying a few words, but I am sure she will get used to it all in a few days.

She is auditioning for the school play Suessical in two weeks and would like a principal role so she has to do a solo. Hopefully, all will be well by then.

Internet Safety

We attended an Internet Safety class last week with an FBI agent. It was fascinating and made me think about some ways to make sure we are safer with the internet and our kids. For starters, I may make this blog private. The agent showed how just from your blog and not even using names, a predator can get pics of your kids and decipher exactly where you live, what schools they go to, interests and ways to lure them. I will let you know if we go private and invite you all to still view the blog.

Halloween Night

This was the first Halloween in a long time that I wasn't up all night making costumes and the girls looked terrific. I may have to rethink my fancy costume making in the future.






















Haley decided she wanted to be an Enchantress but her friend called her a Heavy Metal Opera Singer!
